How to renew your Pakistani Passport in UAE, required documents and fee - Full guide

Do you want to renew your passport in UAE as a Pakistani? Residents will be happy to know that UAE government has easier the passport renewal process to make it a hassle-free experience for all the residents residing in UAE. Here is the guideline below to renew your Pakistani passport in the UAE, including required documents, processing time, total fee for renewal.

You need to do the registration to renew online your passport fill the form with all details, upload required documents. You can take the printout and pay through credit or debit card.

All the Pakistani residents in UAE can renew their passport through the dedicated Online Service or through Pakistani consulate in Dubai. You can submit the application online and pay the fee online also.

• Passport validity should be less than six months from the date of expiry
• Any correction or change in name, spouse name endorsement or address change or any change in your front bio page will be possible through renewal of your passport
• Any changes or correction in your passport need valid documentary evidence.

If you are a valid resident's visa holder in UAE these below documents are required to renew your passport-

Documents required for Adults passport renewal

• Original Passport and Photocopies of applicant
• Original valid NICOP/CNIC/Smart card and Photocopies
• Application form filled with in Black Ink pen
• Emirates ID of the applicant
• Color photographs with white background and size 45mm in height & 35mm wide

Note: If you have dual nationality original foreign passport is mandatory.

If you want to renew your child passport in UAE, you may need to submit some additional documents like below

• Father's Original valid CNIC/NICOP & Photocopy
• Father's Original valid Passport & Photocopy.
• Mother's Original valid CNIC/NICOP & Photocopy.
• Mother's Original valid Passport & Photocopy.
• Child Original valid Form B/NICOP/ Smart NICOP & Photocopy.
• Child (Applicant) Original Passport & Photocopy.
• Personal Presence of father & mother along with child is mandatory.
• In case of separation, custody papers from court attested From Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan and UAE.
• In Case of Dual Nationality Original Foreign Passport along with photocopies.

If your child is ne wborn in UAE and by any circumstance you want to renew or change his/her passport you need below documents:

• Filled Application form.
• Child original birth certificate attested & photocopies (Attested from ministry of foreign affairs UAE).
• Child Original NICOP & photocopy.
• Original valid passport of father & photocopy.
• Original valid CNIC/NICOP of father & photocopy.
• Original valid passport of mother & photocopy.
• Original valid CNIC/NICOP of mother & photocopy.
• Father and mother personal presence along with child is mandatory.
• In case of father and mother is other national applicant need NOC from Consulate.
• Personal NOC /Sworn affidavit required if father or mother is foreign national attested from concerned consulate/embassy.

Note: If you have dual nationality original foreign passport is mandatory.

Photos for the application form should maintain the required specification :
• Photo should not older than last six months.
• Background should be white only.
• Try to wear darker clothes.
• Your face should cover 70 to 80% of you photo.
• Your skin tone should be natural.
• Wearing glasses, sunglasses or hat is not allowed.
• Photo must be printed professionally with 45mm height and 35mm wide.

Follow the guideline issued from consulate of pakistan of form filling to avoid rejection of application as like below:
• All information filled in form should be in clear Urdu handwriting.
• Only black ink pen is allowed to fill the form.
• Form should be printed on only A4 size paper (general size using in all printers).
• Ensure that any cutting on form will be lead to rejection of the application.
