How to Sponsor your Parents in UAE as per uae labour law, required documents and minimum salary

Any person who wants to sponsor their parents on resident visa in UAE must fulfill the below mentioned qualifications:

• Must have a valid resident visa with minimum monthly salary of AED 20,000
• You must bring both parents. In case of death or divorce of one parent attested death or divorce certificate must be attested from UAE embassy of home country and Foreign affairs in UAE and translated in Arabic.
• Dependency certificate or Affidavit mentioning that you are responsible for their take care in UAE. Certificate or affidavit should be attested from Ministry of foreign affairs and translated in Arabic.
• Minimum Two bedroom home tenancy contract in your or in your spouse name.
• Registered tenancy contract and electric bill if you are living in any other emirates like Sharjah or Abu Dhabi.

• Original Emirates Id of sponsor.
• Application form (Can be get from AMER center at submitting the documents time)
• Passport copy and visa copy of Sponsor.
• Partner or Investor visa holder can submit Memorandum of association, Trade license and six month bank statement.
• Salary certificate of sponsor if the sponsor is Government, semi Government or free zone employee.
• Labor contract of the employee if working in private sector.
• Tenancy contract or Ejari or Title Deed of property's photocopy.
• Latest Electricity bill.
• Passport copies of Parents with minimum six months of validity.
• White background photo of each parent.
• Attested Consanguinity certificate from the consulate Attested from Ministry of Foreign Affairs UAE translated in Arabic.
• National ID of parents if they are from Afghanistan, Iraq or Pakistan.
• Bank account statement with original seal of bank.
• IBAN number of sponsor bank account.

You can visit the nearest AMER Centers to submit the Documents where you can be guided easily by the staff.

After submitting the documents at AMER center the rest of processing steps are same like your family visa processing in UAE. Your parents will get the Entry permit for UAE . After entering in UAE you have 60 days to process for the medical test, Emirates ID fingerprint scan and visa stamping on their passport.

Note: In condition of not having monthly salary of AED 20,000/- If you are not getting AED 20,000 salary per month in Dubai it is difficult to bring your parents here in UAE but in some case if you can prove that you are the only person to taking care of your parents and keeping your parents with you is really necessary for their well being then you can request to GDRFA with some application and you can get permission of sponsoring your parents in UAE on humanitarian basis.
This is totally depending on GDRFA that you will get the permission to sponsor the parents or not in such case.

  After Entry in UAE the parents must go through the Medical test in any Government approved Medical centers.

• Insurance

  As per the Dubai health Authority all residents should have medical insurance plan approved by Dubai health Authority for process of Visa stamping in issuing Residency.

  Your parents are not under any company while you are the sponsor of your parents so its is your responsibility to provide the insurance to your parents to issue residency visa.

  Personal insurance per person can be bought for minimum AED 500 to approx AED 1500 per year.

  Taking Health insurance in UAE is very beneficial for every one. Insurance give you protection against any unwanted health issue.
